A pioneer
in the commercialisation of these products, which used to be consumed seasonally. It was with Chábom that we began to have these regional delicacies all year round, both in the homes of Madeirans and the tourists who always visit us. As well as the famous honey cakes and cornbread, the company has also specialised in a range of chocolates, handmade sweets and other cornbread products, with flavours typical of the region.
For 40 years
we have maintained a traditionally unmistakable flavour and, as well as selling their products in the factory itself, they have a long-standing relationship with regional, national and recently international distributors, thus contributing to the preservation of the island’s cultural identity around the world.
And today
after being acquired in 2023 by Chef Júlio Pereira, maintains its commitment to preserving ancestral recipes and cooking techniques.
